    Q: Where in NOAA do you work now?
    A:
     Office of Research and Applications (ORA), NESDIS.

    Q: When did you begin your work with NOAA?
    A:
     January 12, 1969 - Superbowl Sunday, The New York Jets beat the Baltimore Colts. Also, the year the Amazing Mets beat the Baltimore Orioles in the World Series and the New York Knickerbockers beat the Baltimore Bullets for the NBA Championship.

    Q: Looking back, what events stand out as the most memorable during your time with NOAA?
    A:
     When the weather maps was completely computerized. Widespread uses of satellite data and information in forercasting, especially, display on television.

    Q: From your point of view, what have been the most significant changes NOAA has experienced during the past 30 years?
    A:
     More and more programs being done with less people. NOAA organization has become very efficient and smart in applying advances in technology. I joined the Environmental Science Services Administration (ESSA) before NOAA was formed in 1970. I was in NWS for over 12 twelve years. I transferred to an organization called EDIS 19 years ago which was merged with NESS to form NESDIS.
