    Name: Kathleen Dillehay

    Q: Where in NOAA do you work now?
    A:
     I work in the Financial Reporting Division, OFA, Finance Office of NOAA as an accountant.

    Q: When did you begin your work with NOAA?
    A:
     January 2, 1966. I began working as a clerk for what was known at that time as Environmental Science Services Administration (ESSA) operating a bookkeeping machine 3300 in the Accounts and Reports Section of Finance under Grace Smith. Later for Raymond Hogan/Teresa Wells as a voucher examiner in the Finance Office for ESSA which later changed to NOAA.

    Q: Looking back, what events stand out as the most memorable during your time with NOAA?
    A:
    The shut down of the Federal Government - what more can you add to this.
