    Q: Looking back, what events stand out as the most memorable during your time with NOAA?
    A:
     1. The C&GS's Satellite Triangulation Program, which was the pre-cursor to the current Global Positioning System. 2. The installation of the NWS's Automation of Field Operations and Services system, which was the pre-cursor to the AWIPS 3. The installation of the Polar Acquisition and Control System for NOAA's Polar Operational Environmental Satellite Program. 4. The installation of the Integrated Polar Acquisition and Control System for the USAF's Defense Meteorological Satellite Program

    Q: From your point of view, what have been the most significant changes NOAA has experienced during the past 30 years?
    A:
     Consolidation of most of the NOAA offices in Silver Spring.
